The Philippine Daily Inquirer was slammed by infuriated netizens when it was found out that they have allegedly spreading a fake news about the incident in Marawi City.

Just recently, breaking news had broke the people of the Philippines when the rebel group Maute Group attacked the Marawi creating such chaos not just in the place but on the people as well.

And also exactly the reason why President Rodrigo Roa Duterte declared Martial Law in the entirety of Mindanao at exactly 10 pm of Tuesday night.

Media of course won’t let the chance pass to create such big news.

One of it is the Philippine Daily Inquirer and a news have been spreading that they are at it again.

They are allegedly spreading fraud news about the recent event and a lot of the people of the social media community have been able to read their ‘fake’ article and they got furious about it.

Needless to say, when one would say news article, it should contain the precise and concise information about the event being tackled. A news contains information and facts and is always direct to the point.

And the issue about the issue of the PDI is about the fake picture they posted as to what the Marawi looked like after the attack but a netizen took notice that the picture is not taken from Marawi.

They said that the picture is actually taken from the aftermath of the bombing in Cotabato on 2013.

And that was according to the news report of the Pinoy Trending News.

As mentioned on the report, one netizen even said that it’s a ‘false news’ and she even stated that PDI should stop such because the people are affected considering that it was big news.

However, the article has been already deleted but take a look at the screen shot of their article below:

These photos were from a bombing incident in COTABATO CITY way back in 2013. NOT IN MARAWI on 2017.
