WATCH: Phone Interview With Bohol Governor Edgar Chatto On Abu Clash In Clarin Bohol!

Bohol Governor Edgar Chatto confirmed the death of Abu Sayyaf sub-leader Joselito Melloria after he was killed by government troops in a clash today between the terrorist group and soldiers.
According to Bohol Chronicle, Melloria was previously though to be just contact and escort for the Abu Sayyaf in Bohol.

However, the authorities later found out that Melloria is in fact a sub-leader of the Abu Sayyaf Group and someone deeply involved in terrorist activities.

The police source said that Melloria was with slain Muamar Askali, also known as Abu Rami, in a previous kidnap operation in Samal Island, Davao del Norte.

The authorities learned of the presence of two Abu Sayyaf Group members in Clarin, a the town next to Inabanga in Bohol thanks to a said habal habal (motorcycle for hire) driver who tipped the police.
