The president of the Philippines, Rodrigo Duterte temporarily said farewell to his iconic look and donned wearing a coat and tie in the Association of the South East Asian Nation (ASEAN) Summit located in Laos.
Digong looked stunning as he wears a suit for the first time ever since he became the president of the Philippines when he attended the 29th retreat of the ASEAN which was held at the National Convention Center in Vientiane, Laos.
On the Malacanan's Facebook page, they uploaded the photo of the president along with the caption of: "Suit up."
The Malacanan revealed that one of the agendas of Wednesday was the stand of the nation on the West Philippine Sea and the regional issues such as the disaster management, transnational crime, maritime security and the drug matters.
The tough-talking president has been vocal about his concerns when it comes to choosing comfort over fashion and this also includes the important events. It can be recalled that even on his inauguration day, Duterte wore a Barong Tagalog along with his iconic corduroy pants.
During some of his recent events, he was seen pairing up the Barong Tagalog with denims but on usual days, he always wears plaid polo with jacket.
