President Rodrigo Roa Duterte delivered his first State of the Nation Address live at the at Batasang Pambansa on Monday, July 25, 2016.
President Duterte is expected to report the present economic, political, and social condition of the country. He is also expected to state the accomplishments and plans of the government to “change” the Philippines.
Secretary Martin Andanar said that the President wrote his own speech and it would last for about 38 minutes or more if Duterte insert adlibs.
