ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines—Three suspected Abu Sayyaf members, one of them is apparently a member of a group that holds a foreign hostage, were captured separately in Basilan on Thursday and Friday, according to the military.
The captured individuals were identified by the military’s Western Mindanao Command representative Major Filemon Tan Jr as Mudzrih Abih Adjalan, alias Idol, an alleged Abu Sayyaf sub-leader; and a certain Yasir.

Tan said the two suspected brigands were captured on Friday by members of the Joint Task Group Basilan in a town in Ungkaya Pukan. Adjalan has a standing warrant of arrest for kidnapping, he said.

On Thursday evening, another suspected Abu member, who got away from the police earlier, had been captured.

The city police chief, Superintendent Luisito Magnaye, , said Alhnur Usup—otherwise called Arab-arab, Arab Puti and Aldin Usup—who confronts murder allegations regarding the August 2014 Talipao, Sulu slaughter had been rearrested.
Usup got away from police authority last June 21, while being conveyed to the Zamboanga City Reformatory Center. Usup's group in Sulu was also supposedly has European bird watcher Ewold Horn said Magnaye.
