President elect and outgoing Davao City mayor Rodrigo Duterte, in Davao City, promised that no one is above the law—not even his son.
Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte was caught for overspeeding in Bangkal, Davao City, Friday morning.
The Vice Mayor Pulong Duterte as he is popularly known posted a Temporary Operator’s Permit (TOP) from the Land Transportation Office (LTO) after breaking the speed limit implemented in the city.
"I was speeding at 57 kph that is above the maximum speed limit of 40 kph", he said.
"I was in a hurry to go home because my wife was already angry", the vice mayor said.
The apprehended vice mayor also said that it was his first time.
