The TV networks request to the President-elect Rodrigo Duterte to cover his June 30 inauguration has now been granted, according to the incoming presidential communications secretary Martin Andanar on Wednesday.
Andanar said that media networks will only be allowed to cover the event in a specific area “strategic space” on the Malacañang grounds.
Andanar also said that the President-elect might use a mix of English, Filipino and Cebuano and no expletives should be expected on his inaugural speech.
Incoming Presidential spokesman Ernie Abella revealed that they held a meeting with the representative of Facebook Asia and they (Facebook) has offered to live stream the inauguration. OFWs (overseas Filipino workers) and Filipinos all over the world can watch the inauguration through it.
