12 hotline numbers will be set up so that people can directly report to the President the corruption done by government officials and employees, this is what the incoming President Rodrigo Duterte said that he is planning to do.
The President-elect said, government employees can rat out on their bosses’ who are involved in corruption.
Duterte said that the 12 hotlines will be available 24 hours a day and will be operated by persons who will take note of their complaints.
“You better stop it or I will humiliate you,” Duterte said in a crowd of close to 10,000 as he gave warning to the Bureau of Customs (BOC) and Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) in their corruption practices.
Duterte also said that before investments could come, the country must be peaceful by minimizing the source of criminality which is drugs.
